About Sifqa.com

Sifqa helps expats navigate Dubai with clear, step-by-step guides — renting, visas, money, and daily life — plus tools and checklists that save time (and avoid expensive mistakes).

Why this site exists

Dubai gets easy once you understand the system.

But the “how” is rarely explained clearly. Many guides are outdated, copied, or missing the details that actually cause delays — so Sifqa was built to make the process simple, practical, and easy to follow.

What we cover

Sifqa is organized around the real journey most new expats go through:

🏢

Renting & Housing

Ejari, DEWA, move-in fees, contracts, moving out, deposit recovery — and what can go wrong.

🏛️

Government & Visa

Emirates ID, UAE PASS, visas, driving, fines, and common app errors — explained in plain English.

💰

Money & Finance

Bank accounts, transfers, credit score, budgeting, and comparison guides that help you choose correctly.

🧮

Free Tools & Checklists

Calculators, templates, and printable checklists — designed to be bookmarked and shared.

How we research

A lot of Dubai content online is either outdated or written with zero context. Sifqa takes a different approach:

1) We prioritize official sources. When possible, we verify steps and requirements using official portals, government services, and published procedures.

2) We write for real situations, not theory. Each guide is built around the steps people actually get stuck on: rejections, missing documents, confusing fees, app errors, and delays.

3) We update pages. Rules and fees change. Important pages include “Last updated” notes and revisions.

4) We’re transparent. If something depends on visa type, emirate, employer category, or personal circumstances, we say so and suggest the safest next step.

Editorial promise

No fluff. No copied content. No fake certainty.

Most Sifqa guides include: what you need (documents/time/cost), step-by-step instructions, common mistakes + fixes, and links to related pages so you don’t get stuck mid-process.

Do you provide legal or financial advice? +

Sifqa is informational. We simplify procedures and explain options, but we don’t replace official guidance or professional advice. Always verify critical rules with official sources and your employer/professional advisor.

How do corrections work? +

If you spot an outdated fee, broken step, or changed requirement, send it via the Contact page. We review and update important pages and add revision notes where needed.

Do you use affiliate links? +

If/when Sifqa uses affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed. Recommendations are meant to stay independent and reader-first.
